What is a maker's mark?
The manufacturer's hallmark, also known as the creator's hallmark, is a mark affixed to all jewelry made from precious metals such as gold, platinum, and silver. It allows the artisan or company behind the creation of the jewelry to be identified.
The role of the punch
The hallmark plays an essential role: it guarantees the authenticity of the jewelry and certifies its origin. It is registered with the Customs Guarantee Office, which allows the origin of the jewelry to be traced and counterfeiting to be combated.

The return of the article to the workshop is the responsibility of the customer and must be accompanied by its guarantee (of authenticity) certificate. The customer has a period of 2 years to use this guarantee.
